Great beauty hides dark secrets…

Seventeen-year-old Anastasia Lockhart has never led an easy life, but when she starts getting into serious trouble, she’s sent to live with her grandparents in Cedar Falls. The small, picturesque town hasn’t changed since she visited four years ago, with one exception – the presence of a handsome, mysterious boy named Frost. Despite warnings from her grandparents and friends to stay away from Frost, Anastasia can’t deny their attraction, and the more time they spend together, the deeper in love they fall. Unfortunately, Frost has a secret that is beyond Anastasia’s wildest imagination, and she soon finds herself in the midst of a supernatural legend that has haunted Cedar Falls for years.

Can Anastasia and Frost’s love really overcome anything, or are their fates much darker?

Chatting with the Author

What movie deserves a sequel?
I need more Jurassic Park, but thankfully, the fourth installment should be out next year. Also, another Gremlins which is more akin to the first one would be amazing.

What is one thing a woman should never do?
Settle. Every woman deserves her own prince charming!

What is your favorite kind of cereal?
In small amounts, Cinnamon Toast Crunch. I know it’s very sugary, but it’s so good! I usually have homemade porridge for breakfast, though, and add my own cinnamon.

What is one thing you always wanted as a kid, but never got?
I’m a huge animal lover and when I was young, I desperately wanted a cat or dog. I did have some pets growing up, though, including dwarf hamsters, African dwarf frogs and a rescued cockatiel.

If you could bring someone famous back from the grave, who would you choose?
I would choose James Dean because he was an amazing actor and I loved all three of his movies (East of Eden, Rebel without a Cause, and Giant). It would’ve been great to see what else he was capable of in terms of acting.

What is your favorite snack food?
Whole wheat crackers and spicy hummus. I try to keep my snacks as healthy as possible while still tasting great.

What profession have you always admired?
Firefighters. I couldn’t imagine doing what they do on a daily basis! Also, humanitarians who travel abroad to help people in need.

What books on your shelf are begging to be read?
The whole Pretty Little Liars series! I want to read them once the TV show is over because the mythologies seem to differ between the two mediums and I don’t want to get them mixed up. Besides, the TV show is already confusing enough! 🙂 Not that I’m complaining because I’m completely addicted to PLL!

What is one item you cannot live without?
The Bible.

What season do you prefer? Why?
I definitely prefer summer because I’m wholly in love with the sun, sand and surf. I do think all seasons have positive aspects, though.
